Straight answers.
Does the customer get a link or a copy?
No. Staff run it; the customer watches the screen. There is no public page, no customer login and nothing the customer takes home. It is a selling tool, not a web store.
Do you store my customers' information?
No names, prescriptions, photos or health history. The board shows choices and prices. Your existing system handles the order and the payment, exactly as before.
Is it a medical record or a point of sale?
Neither. It does not take payment, place lens orders or prescribe anything. It makes the conversation at the counter clearer.
Are the lens demonstrations exact?
No, and we say so on screen. Thickness, glare and tint previews are illustrations. Exact results depend on the prescription, the frame and the lab.
What do I need to install?
Nothing. Your catalog is a website at lookyfit.com/username. Open it in the browser of any computer, tablet or TV, sign in once, and the device remembers it. Works on the iPad you already have.
Can anyone open lookyfit.com/username?
They see a sign-in, nothing else. Only your owner and staff logins get in. The catalog is for your screens, not the public.
What if I change a price during a sale?
The sale in progress keeps the prices it started with until staff press Refresh. New sales use the new price. No customer is surprised halfway through.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep a working copy of the board you had. You lose the hosted link, updates and new features — not your price sheet.
